回复 :1947年，山东潍河岸边。武工队长马汉东（赵滋民 饰）在河东阻击战中负重伤，他令通讯员小陈（孙羽 饰）回河西司令部送信：陈兴（侯健夫 饰）已投敌，请上级派人到河东整顿队伍、纯洁组织。小陈奉命泅回河西，刚上岸碰上叛徒陈兴，战斗中陈兴被小陈击伤。受伤的陈兴带还乡团抓走了小陈的父母及弟弟，严刑拷打，仍得不到小陈的下落，只好释放小陈的父亲以引诱小陈上钩。司令部派姚队长（张凤翔 饰）和杨副队长（刘振中 饰）跟小陈去河东。，但走到河边发现船已被风吹走，小陈只好找来父亲帮忙，此时敌人已发觉我方渡河意图。黎明时分，一场战斗在潍河边打响了......
