回复 :唐玄宗（刘长纯 饰）生命垂危之际十分想念曾经深爱的贵妃，希望找到画圣吴道子（午马 饰）替自己画一张贵妃像，以解思念之苦。青年画师唐安州（许凝 饰）就此踏上了寻找吴道子的旅途，一路来到青羊镇，在客栈遇见了一位穿着邋遢疯癫的老乞丐。种种迹象表明，老乞丐其实隐瞒了自己的身世，而他的真实身份，应该正是遁世的吴道子。为了引蛇出洞，唐安州设下了重重计谋，却总是被聪明绝顶的老乞丐和客栈掌柜红绛（郭珍霓 饰）耍弄，颜面尽失。最终，唐安州掌握了红绛身世的把柄以此相要挟，无奈之下，老乞丐只得将唐安州领到了一处坟前，告诉唐安州，坟中埋葬的正是吴道子。

In order to be even more efficient in his war against crime he plans to run for governor. One day he meets a strange, shadowy man, Nick Beal, who offers to help him to achieve his end. Beal convinces hesitating Foster by dint of easy money, easy sex with an alluring young woman and the promise of easy success. Joseph Foster soon becomes an influential politician but a corrupt one. A minister of God manages to show him that he has been the plaything of the so-called Nick Beal, who might be "Old Nick" , that is to say Satan himself. Foster then decides to resign and to become an honest man again.
