《夺命锁》讲述了民国年间，报童江城精神病院里的几名医生和护士都意外的死亡，报童死的时候手里还拿着一把古锁，一件件惊悚诡异的事件在医院上演，杨净如所饰演的婉清和钱子楼(孙志翔饰)不相信是医院闹鬼，他们展开了调查，居然发现了五年前的一场阴谋，真凶原来就隐藏在医院中……一部精彩绝伦的推理大戏即将上演。本片在戏剧情节上有一定突破，随故事情节的多变，也因为是发生在精神病医院的故事，免不了有精神病患者搞笑戏份。有总是称自己“钓鱼”的徐教授，也有被人利用的何美丽，二人都与钱子楼之间闹出一段段笑话。何美丽被剧中神秘人物所利用，为整个故事情节带来很多喜感！
