香港电影圈正逢盗版猖獗，念念落魄导演陈果新（曾志伟饰）、念念监制徐屈（陈百祥饰）、编剧谷一昭（张锦程饰）、男演员周松弛（罗嘉良饰）、女演员朱淇（关秀媚饰）决心要拍一部高水准的作品来打击盗版。可惜横在几人面前的就是钱这座大山。于是四个男人只有去找鸭店老板（雷宇扬饰）学习做鸭的技巧去哄骗大腕金姐（罗兰饰）的腰包......
