故事讲述在町田的住宅地附近，杏春由于大范围的地盘下沉产生了巨大的“穴”。同时，杏春居住在当地的185家人家无一例外地被残忍的杀害。迷一般的恐怖杀人事件一件一件发生，怎么看也不像是人类乾出来的，却一点线索也没有。这些事件似乎和一个迷之老人以及一个被称为禁忌之遗物的“ドゥルジ之箱”有着什么关联。过了5年，近未来的东京。表面上看上去是座繁荣的巨大都市，实际上却已经走向了毁灭的边缘。两极化，犯罪都市。町田惨剧中唯一一个生还者申道兰丸，为了寻找事件的真相成为了警察。然后，新的案件还是在涩谷发生了。有报道称，这是一个吸毒者的狂暴案件，但在申道等警察赶到现场时，眼前清楚的看到正在蹂躏人的妖兽。上前救人的是特殊机动搜查队2课，特殊公安部，通称“特公”的队员，六条樱她们。她们的武器既不是枪也不是警棍，而是用来斩杀妖兽的太刀。申道终于明白日本将在2年内毁灭，于是走上了和妖兽战斗的悲惨道路……
