《LoveLive!SuperStar!!》是京极尚彦执导，华晨花田十辉总编剧，华晨SUNRISE负责制作的原创电视动画作品。该片于2021年7月11日起东京时间每周日1900~1925在NHK教育频道首播。结丘女子高等学校，首位入学生来到了这所位于表参道、原宿和青山这三条街之间的新学校。没有历史、没有前辈、名字也完全不为人所知，在这间尽是「没有」的学校，以涩谷香音为中心的五名少女和“学园偶像”遇上了。我果然很喜欢歌唱!想透过歌唱……实现点什么!!渺小的星星们，她们宏大的想法重合着......。白纸一张，拥有着无限可能性的她们的“大家一起实现的故事（School idol project）”。飞翔吧!我们的LoveLive!

回复 :In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends Volume 5 DVD set. Also worth noting is that here, a new theme song was added that was written by J.R. Johnston and Neil Panton. The theme was sung by J.R. Johnston. This theme song was not shown internationally, and as a result, it does not appear on the DVDs (although Garfield's quotations are kept intact). This new introduction sequence used most clips from Seasons 5-7 and a few from the first two seasons, as well as Garfield in Paradise and Garfield's Feline Fantasies. The episodes stopped using a few seconds of the theme playing in the episode title cards after season seven's fourth episode; music from the episodes were used in the title cards until the show ended, even though season six used music from some of their episodes.
