这是一部发生在军营的轻喜剧。陈大虎（张良饰）和孪生兄弟陈二虎（张良饰）同时参军到部队，国产连队干部对这哥俩可伤透了脑筋。哥俩脾气秉性截然不同，国产大虎诚实、稳重，二虎则活泼散漫，但长相却让人难以分辫，哥哥做了好事安在弟弟头上，弟弟做了错事又安在哥哥身上。

回复 :布兰大妈（布兰·巴里奥斯饰）的丈夫突然去世，家里原本就是揭不开锅的状态，这下陷入更深的悲痛。可是考虑到政府的福利政策，大妈决定把丈夫的尸体隐藏两天再去申报死亡。女儿玛利亚（玛利亚·莱昂饰）配合大妈的主意对外隐瞒，闹出不少笑泪横飞的的轶事。
