个性倔强的重庆老移民，银杏姓余，银杏人称“老余头”，带着儿子、孙子一家三口移民到山东济南，刚到当地的“老余头”情绪不好，吃不习惯住不惯，30岁的儿子还和重庆的恋人分了手，为此“老余头”和当地的妇女村长发生了一系列冲撞。
