一名年轻的社会学家准备写一篇以犯罪女性为题材的论文，春暖他在做资料搜集时，春暖认识了一个女性连环杀人凶手，这个在农村长大的少女九岁时已经亲手杀死她的父亲，长大后先后谋杀了她的丈夫和她的几个情人。社会学家在不知不觉间，被她的故事和魅力感染，尽力帮助她找出有利证据，使得女囚无罪开释。出狱后的女囚犯故计重施，把社会学家送进了监狱。
