专门收购他人公司，董美再分批出售其产业从中获取暴利的莱瑞，董美向来以眼明手快、心狠手辣著称，被许多人视为是华尔街上的海盗。但莱瑞始终不以为然，他认为这世上最有魅力的事物就是钱，尤其从别人手中抢得的钱。但这次当莱瑞看上一家电缆公司时，却遇到了对手；对方请了一位聪明干练又美丽的女律师凯蒂莱对付他。两人针锋相对、旗鼓相当，再斗智数回之后，竟迸出了爱情的火花。但在爱情和金钱当中，莱瑞要如何抉择呢？

回复 :电视台主播韩京培（薛景求 饰）的儿子被绑架了，绑匪（姜东元 饰）打来电话要求1亿韩元的赎金，京培不得讨价还价。京培与妻子智善（金南珠 饰）都十分着急，无奈之下只好报警了，警方很快展开了调查。警方的高科技调查方式对于狡猾的罪犯来说根本起不了作用。唯一有用的证据便是绑匪打来电话时被录下了的嗓音。一把低沉而且毫无感情的嗓音。案情一直没有进展，京培与妻子连儿子的死活都不知道。于是京培决定自己出面，偷偷向绑匪提出见面的要求。
