故事发生在民国初年，亚洲月黑风高的夜晚，亚洲阴冷萧索，鬼影幢幢。江南某个古老小镇，一个有着悠久历史沉淀的人家，突然传来了凄厉的呼声。次日中午，县座局长带着手下匆匆前来，原来住在商会会长周哲庵家中的远方亲戚的孩子意外死亡，目睹现场的女仆被吓得疯疯癫癫，她一口咬定这个青年是被狐狸精要死。经过现场勘查，青年确系为狐狸咬死，然而现场的种种疑点依旧让人无法匆匆定案。适逢中秋，县长请来当地名流、周哲庵、新任司法部长赵景白、佛门高僧如海法师以及风尘女子吴佩玉。吴佩玉请来名歌女小孔雀献艺，谁想小孔雀竟在席间身亡。狐狸迷案，难辨真凶……本片改编自高罗佩《大唐狄仁杰断案传奇》中的一则故事。

回复 :Another brilliant giallo thriller from director Francesco Barilli, whose THE PERFUME OF THE LADY IN BLACK was one of the genre's most haunting and original films. This Italian-Spanish follow-up is a bit muddled, but no less engrossing.Set in a family hotel in Northern Italy in 1945, the film concerns Rosa (Leonora Fani), who helps her mother run the hotel while awaiting her soldier father's return from the front. In a Barilli film, nothing is as it seems, and before long Mom (who is sleeping with a traitor she's hidden in the attic) is murdered. Then poor Rosa is raped by two of the guests, who also are murdered, and while she's hiding the bodies she is forced into an orgy by all of the other guests. But before the guests get to far a mysterious man enters all shots the guests. Who is this mysterious man and what are his intentions for Rosa?Like all the best gialli, Pensione Paura completely dispenses with logic early on, elevating weirdness to nearly operatic levels while absorbing the viewer in a thick and spellbinding atmosphere of mounting dread. Francisco Rabal co-stars with Luc Merenda, Lidia Biondi, and Jose Maria Prada.

回复 :I can see people will either love or hate this movie, depending on your own experiences and loves. Its basically about a incredibly obese police officer coming to terms with his own mortality (he is given a year to live at the start of the movie). It has other bits and pieces in the plot (love, mystery etc), but these are not the central ideal of the movie.I found myself crying in many parts of this movie, for myself being fat (and have been my entire life... of course not to the degree of the main actor, but to a degree which has caused bullying my entire life) this story hits very close to home. And some of the subtle emotional behind the scene's stuff here definitely adds to the mood.Anyone who has had any sort of eating disorder (over or under eating whatever) will recognise things in this movie, and will more then likely be in tears by the first 30 minutes of the movie.
