黄劲秋（黄秋生 饰）是一位非常敬业的三级片男优，怪谈最近，怪谈他放出了要在戏中和配戏的女优“打真军”的“豪言壮语”。之后，黄劲秋在江湖老手伟哥（曾志伟 饰）处听闻了有关男人不举的“恐怖”故事，令黄劲秋没有想到的是，对这个故事深感不以为然的他竟然在第二天的工作之中“身临其境”。 这下黄劲秋可慌了神，他四处求医问药，甚至慌不择路地向欢场女子（张文慈 饰）求教，然而，他不但没有得到解决之道，还遭到了妻子（苑琼丹 饰）的怀疑。之后，父亲（林尚义 饰）拿出了他的“传家之宝”——一粒伟哥，黄劲秋如获至宝，不幸的是，这唯一的一根救命稻草，居然在电影开拍之际被意外踩碎了。
