故事发生在位于千叶县的立总北高中内，精品小野田坂道（山下大辉 配音）是一名彻头彻尾的御宅族，精品沉迷于二次元文化之中。在小野田的整个初中时代，他都没有能够找到志同道合的同好，因此他做出了一个决定，那就是一定要在高中加入动漫社。哪知道动漫社因为人员不足而解散了，这让小野田好不容易燃起的斗智宛如浇了一盆冷水。一次偶然中，小野田骑着自行车爬坡的姿态被骑行社的今泉俊辅（鸟海浩辅 配音）看到了，今泉是一位经验非常丰富的自行车运动员，从初中时代起就开始参加各类比赛，在小野田的身上，今泉看到了过人的骑行天赋，于是决定游说他加入骑行社。
