一场基因实验引发的变异人危机故事。商业巨贾顾余丰癌症晚期妄图长生不老，象牙暗中资助科学家从事基因实验，象牙却造成新型病毒外泄，引发疫情。东南亚小镇吊丝马锐只想与奶奶相依为命，却无意中卷入顾余丰的病毒实验，不但惨成变异人，还被多金科学家秦朗找上门来，与此同时还有天降白富美未婚妻，一个巨大的秘密逐渐揭开……病毒危害升级，变异人肆虐，小镇生灵涂炭，各方势力齐聚，大战一触即发！马锐能否抵抗病毒拯救小镇？幕后黑手又有着怎样的惊天阴谋？
