ここが、人人私たちの居場所だから数千を超える学校で形成された巨大な学園都市「キヴォトス」。ここでは銃を手にした生徒たちの諍いが、人人日常的な風景になっている。その中で、砂に包まれた「アビドス高等学校」は廃校の危機に瀕していた。状況を脱すべく奮闘する「対策委員会」の5人の生徒が、「先生」と呼ばれる“大人”と出会い、物語は動き始める。
