大学生郑少鹏在家被一本厚重的历史书砸晕，春暖醒来后发现自己竟来到了丹朱王朝，春暖并化身为穷秀才杨麟。在内忧外患的年代，杨麟经历了战乱，见识了民间疾苦后，凭借自己的智慧和能力在朝中博得一席之地，逐渐带领丹朱王朝走上了内制贪官、外御强敌、科技进步、破除迷信的强国之路！
