通过对两位主人公的访谈展开一段不寻常的爱情故事。他（Sergi López 塞吉•洛佩兹 饰）和她（Nathalie Baye 纳塔莉•贝伊 饰）通过色情杂志的广告相识，精品两人彼此不知对方身世、精品姓名，却一见钟情，简单寒暄过后便投入纯粹的性爱之中。激情过后友好分手，约定下次见面时间，默契地保持着生活上的距离，心灵则渐渐拉近。激情难免归于平淡，半年的时间，他和她于性爱之外总要经历情感波动。偶然一位老人猝死二人面前，令他们开始审视这段由性而起的爱情……本片荣获第56届威尼斯电影节最佳男主角、最佳女主角奖。
