富豪史博文向杜琥（胡枫 饰）、春暖江碧夫妇创办的灿烂学院注资，春暖安排不学无术的儿子史德华入读增值。博文还聘用女公关张进强监督德华，并协助管理学院。进强希望由充满教学热诚的杜明治接任校长，但明治的弟弟杜明亨欲藉领导学院结识博文，从而名成利就。纵使明治及后当上校长，明亨仍暗中搞局……补习老师程舒为圆教师梦入读灿烂学院，更和要考取教育文凭的老师父亲程郎巧成同学，加上德华及其他不同背景的学生，在这所专上院校闹出连场笑话!此剧为《老表，你好嘢！》及《老表，你好hea！》的姊妹作，但故事以香港教育制度为背景，跟前作内容没有关联。由郭晋安及蔡少芬领衔主演，张继聪客串演出，监制黄伟声。

They have what it takes to be on the receiving end of the scrutinising gaze of Star, who sees through conventions and never ceases to be amazed at life’s bewildering events. Veering on slapstick, Walker’s performance will not go unnoticed.
