一次交通意外，欧美 一个有才华但不得志的漫画家（梁朝伟 饰）遇上刚要出嫁之女鬼（王祖贤 饰），欧美由此引出一段浪漫感人的人鬼隔世情。小女鬼來到阳间，对世事一无所知，幸遇资深女鬼（叶德娴 饰），二人互诉身世，原來叶夫早丧，因偷会嫁前情人，与子同被浸猪笼而死。小女鬼对漫画家情有独钟，暗中相助使他成为当红漫画家。但小女鬼却日渐虛弱。叶终于等到令其子转世机会，不过交换条件是要将小女鬼抓回阴间，因小女鬼实乃血魔之未婚妻子，叶为自己儿子作人，故不惜出卖小女鬼。漫画家决意闯入阴间与血魔决斗……
回复 :在种族主义泛滥的美国南方小镇，所有的人都处于某种疯狂状态，而最后这种疯狂行径却给大家都带来了灾难，不管是白人黑人还是政府人员，似乎要摆脱这样的厄运要么是离开要么就是以暴制暴主动出击，要想等疯子们回头无疑是自掘坟墓。。影片根据真实事件改编的小说拍摄而成结尾部分震撼人心。。。

回复 :The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years.At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with.But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood.I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 回复 :罗伯图（石天 饰）和母亲生活在纽约的唐人街，年届三十的罗伯图风流成性毫无成家的打算，老母不能忍受他的浪荡下了逼他与中国姑娘结婚的最后通牒。罗伯图只得返回香港，投奔姑妈，与表弟张大个儿（曾志伟 饰）展开追女计划。大个儿痴迷女明星林小霞（张天爱 饰），存心在表弟面前炫耀的罗伯图展示国外追女先进经验，以保龄球对决赢得接近林小霞的资格，二人自此打得火热，大个儿中计反被晾在一边。餐厅服务生阿花（刘蓝溪 饰）对罗伯图一见钟情，后者也借机与阿花接触，岂料被林小霞看破，拂袖而去，罗伯图尽力挽回和女明星的关系，同时阿花也在父亲的教授下对罗伯图开展了一场倒追好戏。
