出租车司机阿威服务态度不好，喜欢被报纸点名批评。女朋友阿莉要和他分手。买花时被卖花姑娘阿好指责偷花。心情不好的他又因酒后驾车被警察扣了车。倒霉的他想买桃花转运，喜欢又遇上阿好的摊位。阿好不肯卖留给情人的桃花。阿威醉到在阿好的摊位。阿好只好收留阿威。感激不尽的阿威留下帮忙。阿好不理追求自己的阿发，而深爱着大学生阿辉。阿威帮阿好找到了自信。有一个新年，阿威被评为微笑使者，阿莉回到他身边。阿好也与阿辉成立了花木联合公司。
